Synopsis: Melanie works as a guidance counselor for the local university, spending her days steeped in routine as she helps incoming freshman decide what path to take in life. Her structured day is thrown one afternoon when her 2:30 appointment arrives.  Her father Alan, well into his 50s and married with three adult children, is ready to quit his job of more than 25 years and enroll in school to finally achieve his dream: to go to medical school and become a doctor. Melanie wonders: when you've been on the same path for so long, is it worth it to throw it all away to chase a long dormant dream?
