In December 2015, a team of volunteers spent three days installing new seats at The Bug Theatre, a non-profit artistic venue in Denver, Colorado. The seats originated at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, before moving to The Dairy Center for the Performing Arts in Boulder. The Dairy Center donated the seats to The Bug Theatre. Most of The Bug’s old seats were claimed as souvenirs by Bug Fans. Moving and installation expenses were funded through an Indiegogo campaign, which raised over $14,000 for capital improvements to the 104-year-old building.
Thank you to all who made this possible: The Dairy Center for the Performing Arts (thedairy.org), Sexpot Comedy (sexpotcomedy.com), Bardo Coffee House (bardocoffee.com), and everyone who contributed to The Bug Theatre’s Indiegogo Campaign.
