Twelve Monkeys Dancing Films now offers demo reel services, including video editing and DVD burning/duplication!

We charge by the reel; the flat fee includes everything from transcoding your original source material, editing the reel, and outputting the reel to DVD and digital files. There are no "by hour" charges, and no additional fees for "extras".

1. You provide us with your source material. These can be from films, television shows, music videos - whatever you have that you want to include in your reel! We are currently able to accept the following media forms:

* DVD
* MiniDV
* QuickTime Files
* VHS

Our demo reel packages are priced by the number of original sources you submit for inclusion. A source refers to the DVD or other media that contains each film; if you have three scenes on one DVD, this counts as only one source. The reason we charge by the number of sources is because transcoding the original source material is time consuming, usually the longest part of the process. The more source material you have, the longer a reel will take to complete.

2. You can tell us exactly what to edit - or we can decide for you. Know exactly what scenes you want and in what order? Great! We can edit your reel right to your specifications. Not sure where to start? We can help there, too. If you are flexible, or unsure of which scenes to use, we will review all of your footage and create your reel from scratch. As filmmakers who cast their own films, we know what it's like to review a demo reel for casting purposes, and we'll use that knowledge to put together a package that really sells you!

Please note that if you choose to have us pick your scenes for you, then, unless you request it, there is no guarantee that a scene from each source will be used.

3. We edit your demo reel. Unless you specify otherwise, your final reel will be between 2 - 3 minutes long.

4. You review the reel before it's finalized. Once your reel is ready for viewing we will upload it to a protected area of our site. You'll have the chance to watch it and provide us with feedback on what you like and what you don't.

After you review your reel and give us your feedback we go back to the editing room and make your requested changes. The new reel will again be placed online for you to review and, if more changes are necessary, we repeat the process. A reel isn't finalized until YOU say it's final!

5. When your reel is finished, we'll return your source material and your full demo reel package. Your package will include 2 copies on DVD and a CD with up to three different media files.

You can choose the dimensions of each of your media files. Our suggested sizes are:

Please note: due to our current work load, reels may take up to 3 - 4 weeks for delivery. Contact us for an estimate on when you can expect your reel.

6. You can burn your own copies... or, for a price, we'll do it for you. The contents of your demo reel are yours. We'll make it easy for you to burn your own copies on DVD. If you would rather we do it, we provide DVD Duplication Services.

7. We store your demo reel on our harddrives for future updates and DVD duplication. We'll hold on to your finalized reels for any future needs you may have - updating contact information and/or scenes and purchasing additional DVDs.
